Apparently i'm improving, i can take some consolation in that and aim for a victory next time. Congrats to the winner of course, Kinetic, i think you would have done amazingly well regardless of whether you went with Ivy or not. And congrats to all the players. It was a really good top 8, well earned spots to everyone.

I want to say congrats to Kinetic Clash and to all the people that participated at the SCV EVO tourney this year! You guys put on some seriously amazing matches (even in the slideshow action of the stream!)

I'm happy that Kinetic won, even with Viola, because at least his Viola isn't a two-trick pony (from what I saw in pools). He utilizes her movelist way more than simple orb pressure and 44A BE.

I will have to agree with this. I'm not all that much of a stranger to playing against Viola. I've played several viola's in the past(including Kayane's for example) and I have decent knowledge in the matchup. The same can be said for Signia (though his knowledge excels mine). Kinetic definitely knows how to use both Ivy and Viola to their potential. His matches against all of these players(including my cervantes) was not as easy as you may think and not everyone can use Viola/Ivy to the level Kinetic does. Viola is not unstoppable ( he was sent to LOSERS afterall), so give him the credit he deserves...He wasn't the only Viola user there, but he was the one who won.


And as for Signia... I'm glad you came to EVO. Hopefully now, more people will acknowledge your greatness.

Thanks for the congratulations. You guys are awesome. Those who are curious: For top 8, I used only Viola. Against Snort I used Ivy. I lost to Itazan trying both Viola and Ivy because I'm free to Asty. The other matches I honestly don't remember.

Anyway, I know it sounds lame, but winning an EVO tourney was kind of a dream of mine. I'm so grateful to those who supported me and those who helped me level up. And especially grateful to AlexJ, Tomahawk, and Chemie for making SCV at EVO possible.

Forget SCV supposedly being a "side tournament." Our top 8 got MORE hype than Injustice top 8 with LESS people watching. #SCVatEVO2k14PLZ
