what a fuckin waste of 20 hrs on this "game"

i'll admit, mgs4 has some of the best visuals to date and the action can be pretty cool at times

however, the story is CRAP and they force it down your throat non stop (about 2/3 of the game is a cut scene).

I can't believe i though this one might be different (at least it's better than 2).

anyone else agree that MGS is the most overrated series in video games?
 
I heard this game (cutscenes) actually made people cry. and i know some of those people.

so... i dont know why you would say such things... i suppose its all a matter of opinion.
 
Good Visuals: Check

Good Gameplay: Check

That alone is enough to consider the game good. As far as story is concerned, if you can point to a videogame that has a much better crafted story please do. MGS's story isn't flawless, but it's pretty damn good when paired up to it's competition when it comes to storytelling in videogames.
 
Yes Mgs4 was sad. I cryed like a baby! I liked it alot. Everyone is all about the online mode but I haven't messed with that.
