I love it. What a Beautiful masterpiece of a game! The combat is glorious!!
It has excellent footsies, pacing.
It has a Light Sword Attack and a Heavy Sword Attack.
It has a wonderful combo system. You can create unique combo strings if you mix in your specials (signs) with your attacks and mix in your various bombs (each with different effects not just boom) with your attacks. It gets real fun when you blend all three into your string. Too bad they don't have a arena mode or practice mode.
It has Excellent Tactic Based fights that will ensue thoughtful, stimulating matches. You can't just hack away (I play on the hardest level) the AI forces you to be patient, use footsies and methodical with the attacks.
Truly, a wonderful game. Has helped me scratch that 'sword play' itch of SC, which aside from SC, we don't have within the 3D fighter space.
If only Geralt had a chain whip sword like Ivy - then I'd be in true SC fantasy bliss.
If you guys love RPGs, love SC. Definitely give this one a try. Anyways just wanted to share.
