If I had $1 for every time God bailed me out...

If I had $1 for every time God bailed me out..

Evolution isn't based on anything. It just happens.

I don't get this statement anyway. Of course it is based on something, otherwise it would be completely random and we couldn't roughly reconstruct what happened. Small mutations can turn out to be beneficial for survival and therefore spreading this new genetic material. When this initial impulse happens and what it looks like is somewhat random, that's right. If it prevails however can be foreseen.

Yeah 10%. So for the math retards.....If you brought home a $1000 check, you would owe the LDS church $100. doesnt sound like a whole lot. But multiply that by 2 per month, then mulitply that by 12 for the year. and thats a lot of fuckin money to buy that solid gold statue that sits on top of ALL the temples there are. Seems fishy to me, but what do I know

The word "cult" is exactly what it felt like, and still seems like.

Perceptions from individual to individual can be completly differnt. Im not coming out saying..."the mormons are a cult" or "there is no god all religions are bullshit". Im just not a religious person. If someone has very compelling evidence that would make me think other wise...then I might be willing to listen. But as of right now. No Thanx!!!
None of the Mormon doctrine makes any sense, but I think that 10% is pretty common for churches to ask for, though they very rarely get anywhere near that amount,

Evolution is not based on something just like gravity or any other natural force is not based on something. They just are. Evolution is the name we give to a completely natural and logical phenomenon.

No it's not. 10% is a huge amount. Most "legitimate" religions only ask for donations, whatever you can/want to spare... maybe $5-20.

Per the Mormon Church, I'm still a little creeped out by the fact that they take roll on Sundays. And if you don't go, somebody visits your house.

That said, most Mormons I know are pretty damned solid people.

... I'd be rich and retired in my 20s.

I fuck up so much but the big guy always bails me out. Epic warbles, son. Epic.
That's possible. What's more likely though is that He is the one trying to destroy you in the first place. Read your literature.
