I took a day off from SCIV

I needed it. While I believe it is the coolest game ever (until they do Tenchu the right way), I needed a break. No self bashing for missing an opportunity in a fight, no disappointment at the rage quitters, no frustration at being dominated by a superior player, and no frowning on the prepubescent kids trash talking on the net. I read the book I am reading, by Eiji Yoshikawa about a nomadic swordsman by the name of Miyomoto Musashi (titled Musashi). It is the 4th time I have read it, but at over 1,000 pages I get more from it every time I read it.

It was a peaceful day. ...sitting on my balcony in the breeze and the sun, drinking beer and reading.

I will return to SCIV tomorrow or the nex day, but a break was good.

This is all I have to say.

Taking breaks is benificial to your game. After a bit of a break you can come back and be more creative and open minded towards things you've normally taken for granted. Reaction improves, execution improves. You clear your head from all the other bullshit that can clutter your mind. Taking time to absorb information you've learned but haven't yet applied because you've developed your own strat will also be more easily transitioned. Kudos to you, brother.
