I guess I should post here.

Hi, I'm new and stuff. I'm pretty awful at SC despite the overall time I've put into the series. I main Mitsu because I'll be damned if I have to try and remember 4 moves on a character.

..Yup, think that's about it.

'sup?

4B! 8A+B! 66BB! 2 K BE! Why waste your time with anything else? :p Though you could always throw in some 1A/1aB for some variety. Or silent step B just because it's funny when Mitsurugi yells "CATS!"

You sir know what you're talking about.

I guess my estimation of 4 moves was a little low, because there's also 1A spam which is somehow effective online. Oh, and grabs. Lots and lots of beautiful grabs.

I'm always shocked when I actually manage to break a throw online. Mitsurugi's 1A does get me a lot too, but not quite the same way Nightmare's almost always does. Usually it's standing back up in time to block 1aB instead of 1A that's a problem for me online.

Anyway, definitely browse the media here for Mitsurugi footage if you're interested in learning when it's practical to use a wider variety of moves. A lot of high level Mitsurugi players beat me when I play Siegfried by very carefully only using attacks that Siegfried can't possibly punish. That being said, he can't punish 4B either...
