Hori RAP VX

It's not that the start button will get hit by mistake, this joystick uses sanwa buttons. If you press the buttons a bit hard, like they do in MvC2, your start button will get pressed from the vibrations of pressing the other buttons. This happened at Evo last year. The start button has more priority over the other buttons and has no startup frames so one little tap too hard and you lose an entire round. That is not very reliable.

Also, why did hori choose that color scheme for the buttons? It makes no sense. They were on drugs when they made this and came up with a price. Don't get me started on the button layout either...

On my joystick, the left triggers are on the left side of the joystick, the main four buttons are in the center, and the two right triggers are on the right. Why is this one made so damn retarded looking?

I would never buy this for the above reasons, as well as this thing being huge as fuck. It's pretty hideous, for one, but to have the start button right there? And with all the vibration problems that are known to happen? This thing is retarded. Its a land mine.

Alright, I received it today. I love it! I don't know what the fuck you people are on, but I smashed the crap out of it and not once has the start button gone off due to vibration. I don't mash the buttons by sliding my hands across it, and since I only use the first 6 buttons there's enough space between start and the rest of the buttons so I don't touch it accidentally.

I'm gonna have this dual modded, so I could install a lock switch on the start button, but I don't think it's even necessary.

And it looks fine. If ever I need to swap buttons I can change them to a uniform color anyway. I've always liked the colored buttons from Hori. All-white buttons are so dull.

It's smaller than the picture would let you believe. It's wider than the TE but a lot thinner, so on the whole it feels about the same size.

The only complaint I've got is that the door for the wire compartment is a bit flimsy, but there's a lot of room in there so at least the wires don't have to be freaking squeezed in like on the TE.

Man I hate the TE... My stick I bought when soul cal first came out the little HORI one that they made for SC4 feels much better than the TE, on the TE everytime I even try to do iMCF i get 1A or 3AB both of which are very bad ideas... Duno maybe I will have to get used to it but for now I dont even want to try, I'm bout to put the bitch up for sale...

I got one of those too. I had the buttons replaced because Hori buttons are... Horible YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE

It's light so I can I bring it around. Trying carrying a TE across town.
