I use my DualShock 3 controller for both SCIV and will do the same thing for SCV and so far I have no problems with it.:D

I'm currently in the testing phrase of the Hori Fighting Commander 3 Pro. Got it for 22$ at amazon, and it's wired too. So far tests have been generally positive... those large buttons are rather snappy. I can do mitsu b:A and k:B with considerably less effort than with the normal pad (not that it was hard before, but with the bigger buttons it's easier, like on a stick).
Other features include the ability to switch the right shoulder buttons with left ones, the ability to tilt the d-pad a few degrees, and the ability to make the diagonals wider or more narrow.
Those with 20$ to spare may consider it.

Looks pretty nice, my only beef with it is that it isn't for PS3 and Xbox. I own an Xbox but most events use a PS3 so I would have to adjust to a new controller every time I play on PS3 because there isn't an equivalent model for the 360. If it wasn't for that I'd totally buy one. XD
