So our deficit is at a Trillion. It could go 2 Trillion this fall. So we need to.....um..........spend more? And this doesn't even take into account the 11.5 Trillion dollars of debt that we owe.

Who here thinks the idiots in Washington need to be voted out?

The way our economy works is through spending and putting off debt to future generations. It's not going to change and it's not going to be fixed. And all this crap happened way before Obama took office. And if you don't spend now, it will just prolong and worsen this recession.

I wouldn't waste my time worrying because shit is not going to change, the people at the top don't want things to change, and our country's problems are deeply seeded. You'll be dead before anything is significantly fixed.

This man speaks the truth but you left out something. The people at the bottom don't want it to change either. Any measure to raise taxes or cut programs or services is met with massive public disapproval. The republicans can't just kill welfare and public schools and the democrats can't just raise taxes so nobody has a fix other than borrow more. Until the people learn to say, "fuck what are we doing to our kids here, let's tighten our own belts." ain't nothing gonna change.

But I know people are hesitant to pay it off. Our debt is like two generations old already. It's been okay so far to put it off right? And it's not like we even had any say in making all of it. Everything reaches a breaking point though.
