Hello

Loryuo

[03] Disciple
Greetings 8WR members. My name is Loryuo and i'm a fan of 3D fighters in general. I dabble in 2D,

but I really enjoy the 3D aspect of fighting more. While i'm not that great at any of them, I practice

every day to see if i can get better. My main 3D fighter is Tekken, followed by SCV, VF5, and DoA5.

I live in Indianapolis, Indiana and while I have a local scene here, majority are mostly into anime

fighters or 2D in general, and none play any of the games i've mention save for one guy who plays

DoA5. My only outlet for testing my skills have only been online, which is kind of depressing, because i'd love to play

more people offline, get better, learn some new tricks, and improve over time. I've been playing SCV

on and off and started actually trying to understand what is happening in the game. I'm a Hilde

Main, who transitioned to Raphael, who eventually, went back to Hilde haha.

Anyways, it's nice to meet all of you. If you see a scrubby hilde on XBL under the gamertag Loryuo,

it's most likely me.

I play

VF5, SCV, and DoA5 on 360
Tekken Tag 2 and 6 on PS3

Hi! Welcome to the madness! Well, maybe not everyone around here is crazy but you know how the saying goes right? ;)

Some points of interest here:
Drakes epic articles on the basics the game fails to explain
Hilde sub-forum
Raphael sub-forum

If you need any help, just ask pretty much anyone. Even when everyone's trashtalking each other like crazy, pretty much everyone here enjoys being helpful and most don't mind answering questions to help out newcomers(one of those kooky things about the community). It's all in good fun man, at the end of the day we all win when everyone gets better and kicks each other into the ground a few hundred times on the digital battlefield: more players is always better!

And hey: I'd definitely be interested in playing you sometime as well. I just don't know enough folks playing Hilde or Raphael personally: I figure they should give me a good bit of trouble(Nightmare/Tira player) in the best of ways.

Thanks guys, and big thanks to you Wandrian for all the important links. I've recently been scanning the hilde forum, and so far i'm learning what moves i should use in most situations. I'll be sure to ask questions when confused, since i know i won't get better without a push every now and then.
