Hello from toronto

Just wanted to say hello to everyone and was wondering if there will be a good community here in toronto would be awesome to play with a few people locally

Hey there ChosenPredator,

As my peers have said before me you are in luck! Toronto has a VERY talented, experienced and welcoming community. Just introduce yourself in the link Partisan gave you and your on your way to Soul Calibur mastery! and many friendships on the way!. Im one of the new player arena moderators together with Enkindu and Ghengis_John and as such Im here to help you find your way around and ultimately your fit in 8wayrun. So tell us a little more about you; who do you main? and how long have you been playing Calibur?? Do you plan on playing competitively (Tournaments) or are you more of a casual player?.

If you have any questions or need help in anyway dont hesitate to ask!! And please, enjoy your stay!!

Welcome to the forums!

Once SC5 hits there will be weekly sessions every Wednesday at A&C World, which is a local public console arcade place where you pay $5 to play for the day. Hope to see you there man. Lots of tournaments and fun to be had in the next few months. :)

Thanks everyone for the great responses and welcoming!

I am excited to hear Toronto has a strong caliber of players. I haven't played Soul Calibur in years so the rust is heavy but I am looking to practice and train and watch from the best. I actually just bought a Madcatz soul calibur stick and want to get the hang of the arcade stick, hoping one day to be competitive once I feel confident enough in my skills so i can get out of that beginner status, lol. I used to play Voldo and Maxi.

A&C world I remember seeing that place a few times I'll definitely start coming when I up my skills or just to watch and talk to people. I am located in Mississauga but the travel really doesn't bother me.

Do any sort of streams go on while tournaments play as well?
