Hello everyone, thought I should introduce myself as I'm new to the forums.

I'm madjecks I've been playing the SC series for a while but nothing competitive just when a friend came over and wanted to play some fighting game, but now that SCV has come out with this awesome multiplayer and ranking system I've definitely gotten into it more. However my previous play style (basically button mashing) doesn't work well against people of any worth. So I'm having to really buckle down and learn the game.

Really the only character I'm worth anything with is Sig, however when compared to the other sigs around I am not very good lol. I used to play Kilik and was pretty decent with him, but I can't seem to do well in multiplayer with Xiba.

So that about sums it up I'm sure you'll see me in the SCV sections acting noob questions and generally annoying everyone.

Oh I've also got a youtube channel (not going to whore out for subs don't worry) That I'll be putting some matches on so if any good sig players feel like giving me some pointers please feel free!

It's good to meet you man and feel free to ask questions, that's what the site's for. As for the button mashing the higher damage and game speed means you often get hurt quite badly for it. Which is a good thing I think. I look forward to you slaughtering all of your friends.

Thank you for the tutorial video its very helpful. The specific notations I was having problems with was the i notation and the BE but have figured our it was for instant and Brave Edge.

I'm going to be posting some gameplay in the Sieg arena with the characters I'm having trouble with so please look at them if you have time and give me some input. I think this will give you guys a better feel for how I am playing that game and me a better feel for what I'm doing wrong.
