I may just do a whole "in praise of cheapness" thing. There's a lot of stuff we as SC players are used to--throw mechanics, RO, etcetera--which are potentially off-putting to people coming over from other games.

A nice article from our resident misanthrope. Throws are just a part of the learning curve which hits you really early on. You either hit the wall or you take the time to climb it. I still can't say I have truly mastered it but at least I can say it is my fault and not the game.

I'm in agreement with norik434. Ring Outs are the most hated mechanic of the game. Ironic that they were most frequent in the most well respected game of the series (review wise, but remember many gamers take reviews as gospel). It needs a proper defending so Namco will not diminish them further.
