I've just been around for a long time, I've won a little bit, and I'm predisposed toward doing a lot of typing and a little occasional thinking. I'm not even a mod. Triumph of the little guy!
 
My first tournament was with 6 people, I got second place! I lost too NFK so it didn't really bother me. The second tournament was with a good group of people and it was streamed! I held my own against some really good players I got 8th I think. The last tournament I went to was DEV and there I actually did much better than I should have. I won 2 matches then lost to RTD, after that I had to go into losers bracket and win 2 straight to fight for the last spot for top 8. Needless to say I lost to NDK but god damn that was so much fun.
 
Another great one, I've definitely wanted to get into the competitive scene for a while now but as I understand there aren't many SC tournaments here in the NYC area that I'd be able to attend (too young to drive, inflexible schedule, etc.) Of course I'll figure something out when I'm ready, but that's been my "I'll give it a try, but..." for the past year or so.
 
Great read, I hope a scene develops in Kansas. I know it most likely won't happen, I'm just sick of my only competition around here being my friends Cass. I need tournaments around here (or at least in Oklahoma :D)
