Not to sidetrack, but I think it's very difficult to engender that point of view in a community who's designer ardently opposes the very idea of competitive play and designs against it on purpose*. I'd say it'd be almost impossible, sadly. Now that right there is an interesting topic (to me anyways).

*(For clarification, I have nothing against Smash personally, I just question Sakurai's boneheaded spurning of the hardcore/competitive and dedicated community that has sprung up under his game).
