Hardest game ever

Still can't believe this is still up for debate, go play i wanna be the guy then come back and try and say something else is harder.
 
Me and my friend tried to beat battletoads the other day, and we couldn't get past the part where you repel down the tunnel because we kept killing each other.

Lol, it happens. Position advice: P1 (Rash) stays in the opposite part of the screen from P2 (Zitz), if Rash is in the upper left, Zits must stay in lower right.

Crow juggling for 1Ups is a most in order to get farther to the next stages through tries/errors.
 
I remember playing Battletoads, but I don't remember beating it or not. Megaman and TMNT were definitely up there in difficulty. As a kid with nothing to do but play video games and not beat those games says something. Well, I might have beaten TMNT once.

I haven't played any of the Ninja Gaidens since NES, but I used to beat those without continues. I could do the same with Legend of Zelda II (pretty easy with all the extra lives around, IMO).

I want to try the newer NG's out now and that I Want to be the Guy after reading this thread.
