Good pick up and play games?

I have a PS3 and PsP, that's it. My time is pretty limited when it comes to sitting down and playing games so I mostly stick to fighters or some pick up and play games. With 2 kids and a wife, I'm almost always getting pulled away from the tv, with my only real time to try to play coming after the kids go to bed, IF the wife isn't still awake wanting to watch a movie or wanting other activities.

Anyway, what are some good pick up and play games for either of the two. When I need a quick fix, I'll play some Wipeout HD, Tekken bowling on DR (PSP), Sam Sho Anthology, Lumines, or some type of arcade game. Used to play Pac Man C.E. but don't have my 360 anymore.
 
You could check out Little Big Planet. I dunno if that's what you're looking for, but it looks like a game you can sit down and play and then leave if you have to.

Lately 'sit down and play' games seem to be a dying breed. I guess as a gamer you're going to have to deal with the dilemma that someday you might run out of quick games to play. Although, you might wanna try and see if the PS3 has anything like the Xbox LIVE Arcade. Those games are fun, but don't take days or weeks to play through.
