Good ads dont pay per click... they pay CPM (cost per mil). For every thousand pageviews, I get a premium.

I put them in because premium membership is dying down; so hopefully this is an incentive for people to become premiums.
 
Based on the Alexa stats for this website and average bandwidth usage of VB, you already make a net positive just having people come here.

Attempting to annoy them into getting premium is a poor plan(see: Pester-ware, and why it doesn't work), it's more likely to keep people from coming back at all, myself included(no real loss, I realize).
 
I admit the full page ads are annoying; however, as long as the ads on the site dont give me a virus, im all for it. Hey, gotta lose money to earn money. Also, depending on my cash this week, i may get a premium by Saturday. Damn you and your evil plans Jaxel. XD

Alexa stats haven't been valid since 2003. Besides, you have no idea what you're talking about.

This website costs $492 a year to keep up, plus $140 for the Javachat, plus $180 for the vBulletin license.
