Forza Horizon

Ya, tryin to beat my friend now in a rival race.
He's played Forza's for many years, I just started but I think I can take him down, haha.

I can add ya to my XBL but as I'm in Japan how will the connection be (I know it isn't as touchy as fighting games online are though)?

I played a 8way New Zealand peep in Forza. Oddly, the connection was pretty good. So I'm optimistic to think it might connect well with you. xD
 
I need more prac before I hit online but when I do we can try.

Te beat my friend I need a good 90 degree turn.

I looked online and find for real cars that you turn opposite, tap the E brake and accelerate out of the turn.
Is this what I need to do in Forza?
 
You can simply brake and take the turn at the correct speed. Hairpin turns are usually taken around 45-55 Kilo/hour. "Drifting" is slower than grip turning because of the extra time you have to take to set it up and you come out of the corner slower.
