Final Fantasy: The Tier List

Is it fair to use Dissidia as proof of strength? Like for example, Siegfried in the storyline of Soul Calibur is suppose to be one of the strongest characters. In the actual fighting game, he tends to be kind of weak. Especially in SC5 where he whiffs a lot. But is this a true gauge of his strength?

If so, then I don't have much knowledge of the FF series. Dissidia is the only FF game I've played that had every VIP from all series of Final Fantasy.

Unlike SC, Dissidia is an RPG game that makes everybody turn out to be accurately the way their supposed to be, once you reached max level. So by judging from that, it gives me a sign about some of the characters in power wise in reflection upon the entire series. Characters like Garland, Cloud, & Jecht do a shit ton of damage, but their damage is all different from each other. In Dissidia, it's a lot more realistic in what each character is supposed to do in terms of damage. Cloud vs Seph, Cloud will do more damage from a single hit, but Seph will do more damage over time, because his attacks are furies of hits that chain together, eventually punishing his opponent with a stronger attack to finish off the combo.

Shantotto.

Sure all those other guys can destroy/save the world or whatever but how many of them do it with rhyming couplets? Precisely.

Ah, Seymour... probably my favorite FF villain. I actually hacked FFX and played the entire game using only him in a SCC (single character challenge)
