I am a new alpha player and I need a more convenient pad face setup; so I'm switching to a 6 button layout.I also need a reliable D-pad that wont cramp my rotational inputs. I have two brief questions to ask.

1) Between the:

HORI HP3-84U Fighting Commander 3 Pro Sony PS3 Controller ($35)

or
Mad Catz Street Fighter X Tekken FightPad SD ($40)

or

the Sega Saturn USB Controller ($60)

Which one would you suggest and why?

My last question is a simple one. What config do you use on your pad?

dom did you check this one out:
STICK.jpg

This one I think it's only in Playasia.com for $45 plus $8 shipping.

Every button consist of very responsive mechanical switches. Even the stick makes a clicky type of sound.

Anyways I tried the Hori Fightpad it's good for me to say the least since I haven't experiment with the other pads.

So do you prefer this Neo-Geo Control over the Hori?

Is the Neo Geo's D-pad very precise or does it allow rotations like a ps3 controller?

Do you own both controllers?

I own the Hori Fightpad but not the Neo Geo.

I posted there in your post just to give you something to think about.

Also I posted my thoughts on the HORI pad here.

Also x 2 this should be posted under Technology & Support since this is more of a technical matter.
