Hey as far as I know, because MS wont allow cross play, and Naoki wants everyone to play together, they wont release it on Xbox, until MS allows cross play.

I'm a legacy player, I played the beta since phase 2. It's a massive improvement over the original game, but I don't think I'll invest into it too much. Or play it at all. MMOs just aren't my thing. If they ever really were.
