Favourite Pokemon

What do you guys think of Aegislash? I was reading a thread about it on Smogon last night, and it seemed like it has amazing stats and it has plenty of options on what it wants to be... but kings sheild seems rather predictable to me. Still I think Aegislash could provide great team support if used correctly. Im thinking about breeding one to help out wih my Mega Kangaskhan's fighting weakness... Of course I have no idea how exactly to efficiently build a team atm so it may or may not be a good idea, seems like something that wouldnt hurt to invest in though!

Aegislash seems like it would make a wall better than anything, even though it can be a potential sweeper.
 
Aegislash is probably the most used pokemon at the moment(?), Its an extremely predictable but potent pokemon, as it can achieve 3 goals all at the same time.
- Sweep
- Wallbreak
- Pivot Switch
It's not a tank, and should not fit that role. It may be able to sponge one attack, from an offensive pokemon. But other than that, it can be 2HKO by a few common pokemon.
It has a favourable matchup against almost every pokemon in OU, due to its typing/move coverage/stats. Kings Sheild is pure bullshit. The actual move, isn't terrifying, BUT the idea of having it is. Playing against Aegislash you always have to have Kings Sheild lurking in the back of your head, for even strong offensive pokemon like Excadrill and Talonflame have to fear their ATK dropping by x2. Aegislash can pretty much synergize with any pokemon due to its amazing typing and stats. Kangaskhan is probably the most obvious. I highly reccomend you whore out this pokemon as much as you can, there is absolutely no good reason you should not use this pokemon if its allowed.
 
So even though Aegislash has good bulk he shouldnt be used as a tank? What you mentioned seems to make a lot of sense, thank you :)

Yeah I thought it was pretty cool that Aegislash doesnt really have to fear physical attackers with kings sheild, and it does have great coverage with Sacred sword + Shadow sneak... But the weakness to EQ can be a problem though, then again thats what other teamates are for. Would you recomend an SD set for Aegislash or something else?
