Favorite classic games

"Classic" for me means arcade stuff from the 80's. I pumped more than a few quarters into...

• Precursor fighting games: Karate Champ, Yie Ar Kung Fu
• Early beat'em-ups: Double Dragon, Bad Dudes, Final Fight, Kicker (sort of a beat'em-up)
• Vector-based space shooters: Tempest, Asteroids, Star Castle, Star Wars
• Misc. other old games: Assault, Ikari Warriors, Legend of Kage, Centipede/Millipede, Arkanoid, Gauntlet, Elevator Action

Oh god yes on all those. Gauntlet....OMG that game I was so addicted to. I mustve pump months of allowance quarters into that game!

This post just brought back soooo many memories of me hoping on my skateboard to all the 7-11's and liquor stores in my hood, beating the snot outta anyone I came across. Ahhhhh the good old days!!
