Experience with Japanese players

i didnt bother reading all the posts. only the first few, but we asian people dont have a "win" button. we just grow extra fingers when we play fighting games =P

Getting good in competitive games is all about accessibility to (good) competition. In Asia, unlike in the west, people seem to have relatively better access to arcades and a gamer communities that surround it.

well to add to the topic yes Japan is full of SC players?? anyone who says different just hasnt been there.... Yes Akihabara was one of the best places to go... I used to play Dekka Cho and Kageh there almost every weekend in SC2... I lived there for 3 years granted there werent thousands of SC players but the ones that did play usually knew there shit and they knew how to piss you off like no other.... Japan screams DEFENSE AND CHEESE lol they play to win , but i loved it, as dude said it was an "EYE OPENER" anyone thats hardcore into any fighting game should defintely see japan one day... theres competition on every corner even in the smallest of arcades you can usually find one guy that will give you a run all day... Although i must say once you whip up on them they do tend to give up pretty easily.... Japan is awesome though cant wait to go back someday! Akihabara, Yokohama, Shinjuku, and Shibuya are usually the places to go... so ifyou travel there hit them up! usually cant miss the arcades some of them are 3 stories high.... and stop bringing duskbringer up everywhere... shit is getting as old as RAPE APPLES lol dumbass CY ;)

lol I was at one of those arcades this past summer... Club Sega in Akihabara (which had like 4+ stories... I can't remember, I went back down to 2nd floor to get on Tekken 6 and stayed there) and there was a smaller Club Sega I went to in Wakou. But yeah, I am a "decent" Tekken 5 player.... So I thought I'd somewhat hang with the people at the arcade playing Tekken 6.... It got so bad that one dude gave me 2 wins then came back and took the 3 in a row. I'll say Japanese players are definitely on top when it comes to competition, especially after that experience. xD
