EGM Closing Down

Was a rumor, but its confirmed in that link. Shame cause they seemed to be at least reporting well on FGs in general, with the whole SC4 thing before it hit and a recent SF4 thing that got postponed today.

EGM is officially done and some of the 1UP staff are slowly being terminated which was bound to happen now that UGO has bought it.

Wow. Back in the day when i was in grade school, EGM was my only source for games. I remember collecting issues and getting so hyped up about future arcade releases and looking up code sections to see if they had any for my games. The fan letter section was always good for a few laughs and sometimes fueled disscussions/arguments with my friends. Ahhh, those were the days. It's really sad actually.
