DmC Version 2

Except it does matter if its the main protagonist, the character the story revolves around, and when you see the majority of he story from the point of view of a shitty lead protagonist, you have a fucking problem. It just makes the entire experience going through story unpleaseant. I say the better story is the one that is the more enjoyable to see. Sometimes not taking it seriously and having fun with it is better than trying to be serious and falling flat on your ass. Also did anyone else here see the awful ending? And i thought ME3's ending was garbage... And i think i'll head to bed because i'm too skinny
 
Guys just a thing, this is going to end like the first one, the thread is going to get closed if you two need to be so harsh towards the other opinion, so please stop the senseless fight.
So if you two have a problem with this still go to PM, man old Devil May Cry story was better?
Yes, but this is me the new DmC looks a cheap action movie and the background look a cheap dark future movie, so sorry it is me and bad mouthing the games I liked of the series won't change it. Now please you two don't get another thread closed because you two can't accept the difference between people .
 
Got no prob with people likin' the game. It's just not my cup of tea. As "deep" as the story is, this game just comes off as juvenile to me. That's just me though.
 
hmm... honestly If I dont like a character then it would make the story a horrible experience, well for me at least because we will end up having the evangalion effect. Evangalion as a anime was ok but everyone and their mother hated Shinji and some people bashed EVA because of shinji xD. For me Gurren Lagan also had that problem when they killed Kamina and then Simon became Kamina 2.0 and.... That killed gurren lagan for me. So even if you differentiate between character and story if one doesnt coexist with the other then it could make the experience bad. For me when I heard persona 3 FES was coming out I was amped and then they said the main character was Aigis and i let that game die in a fire because i HATE that character. I refused to endure an entire story with her causing me to skip FES and just read the spoilers for the story xD. Now in DmC case you're forced to play as this Dante and he isnt the dante everyone remembers so it might not be the same experience. Hence why i wouldnt buy this game cause i know the real dante and this dante is obviously not the dante i rememebred... nah no ty but at least the game is "decent" and not as horrible as everyone wanted it to be xD.
