Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

I've been using it on occasion, but I'm not sure if the success I'm getting is because they aren't paying attention or otherwise, so I'm not sure yet.

Ended up playing about 44 games today. I ended up playing this D rank Helena whom, after I won the match, invited me to a lobby so he could fight me and learn more of the game just by fighting. Fair enough, since he at least wants to improve, he friends me and after a few tricky issues with the internet, it stabilizes and we play about 40 games. I won all of them, 19 as Bayman, Hayate, Ryu and Helena and then the remaining 21 as Kokoro. For the most part he played random, but mostly stuck with Helena.

Basically all I could see from him was the typical mistakes that most players do with Helena and general fighting, but at the very least, towards the end of the matches, he finally started blocking and was finally able to accurately predict and block my 2H+KK on normal hits (on stun and counter hit, not so much, but I blame lag). Try as I might, I could get him to stop using Helena's 1PPK, though I punished often and couldn't punish it on counter hit (though I know its possible), so maybe he felt that it was good if he could get it off on counter hit... I'm not so sure. I did get him to avoid using holds too often (maybe my Bayman was more effective at that...) and rely more on blocking, sidestepping (still iffy on this one, but I did a lot of pressuring with 6PP to lock him).

Anyway, I felt like he wasn't picking up on a lot of things so I told him to hit the tutorial mode and play that for a bit to learn some stuff.

Aside from all that... I get to gloat... a 40 wins streak. I am boss.

Are Bayman's rolls any good?

Yes. From the Tank Roll, he gets access to an OH (T - 2T) that does ridiculous damage on counter hit, and it crushes highs. That said, mid and low tracking moves will beat it, and his SS has better recovery frames and technically more options. His front roll has some okay attack options and it still crushes, but is better used to scoop up a floored enemy if they landed too far to grab them after knockdown since any mid or low will hit him. His back roll... no idea, but I'm sure you can do something good with it.

The overall point: use, but don't abuse. Bayman's a pressure character, not a punisher like Christie.

Hey guys, I was checking out the Japanese website and apparently there's been an update to Marie Rose's move list... here's a link to the new PDF
http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/doa5/ultimate/arcade/img/chara/pdf/marie.pdf

Looks like they also updated where the next location tests are happening.

EDIT: Biggest changes I can see; all her advanced holds now have a specific direction for punches (ie: 67H) and another direction for kicks (49H)... kinda wondering if this will apply the other advanced holders.
