I'm actually wondering if that's a typo, since that is a Sunday and neither Microsoft nor Sony update on a Sunday. Its probably supposed to be September 6th (ie 9/6). Or just the European method of displaying dates, since American version is listed as 9/3.

Correct, It's in euro date format.

I don't think any disc price was announced besides the Japanese price of $60. Of course that doesn't mean anything as NG Razor's Edge came out in Japan at that price but Europe and America got it for 40$.
