Rumor has it that Tecmo Koei is planning to release a sequel to Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball and are planning to announce it at this year's E3. Supposedly it may have online multi-player features.

In addition, based on the information from the official Japanese site, Team Ninja is not planning to release new DLC anytime soon. The new DOA5+ Paradise swimwear won't release until mid-to-late July along with the Cheerleader costumes. However, the company is planning to have some limited promotions in mid April to download some costumes for six of characters (Helena, Christie, Lisa, Kokoro, Hitomi and Lei-fang). The costumes are the cheerleader costumes that were given away to pre-orders.
