I'm sure they have an equivalent here in the West in the form of dominatrixes but I doubt they'd be considered "cute" (think Christie or Ivy).

Ayane is a bitch, but you just have to be a man. I mean she gets along with Kasumi, Hayabusa, and Hayate only because they could put up with her. Ever played DOAD? She was a bitch to tell Eliot to man up, but she didn't expect him to say thanks for saying that. DOA5 I believe they have a friendly sparring before tourney.

Imho, Ayane is difficult to handle if you aren't man enough to take her blunt and to the point nature. I know I am since I am man enough.

Ayane's no more of a bitch to other people as people have been a bitch to her when she was younger. She can be really nice if you give her a chance (like how she treats Hayabusa & Hayate). She's also much nicer in the Ninja Gaiden universe. I think she's simply misunderstood and is only evaluated at face value, i.e. a cold, revengeful, murderous, purple-haired bitch.

Does this seem like the type of character that would be a cold bitch at heart? I see a beautiful butterfly just wanting to be accepted for who she is and wanting an opportunity to truly spread her wings. Really, I think Ayane just needs a big warm hug, don'tcha think?

On a different note, I think in a weird way, Ayane and Eliot could make a cute couple! Ayane's feistiness coupled with Eliot's youthful disposition and integrity, though I'm sure we'd know who would wear the pants in that relationship.

Ayane just needs a good fucking in my opinion. hopefully Eliot will deliver that. Or Hayate... which I doubt.
