i doubt it since the juggles in tag are ridiculous and easy to pull of for major damage. at least I would be interested in tag tournies for DOA5

Guaranteed damage is what the game is in need of the most. And consider the fact that TOD in general is considered fine by most of the FGC for tag team games and I don't think it's too much of a stretch to see Tag explored for competitive play.

Looks hype, and yes they made it so some stuns aren't stagger escape-able in Tag. Everything you see above is guaranteed in the first hit.

Also of note, by Itagaki's own admission they were going with Tag as the focus for DOA2 and DOA3 in terms of game system. I think that explains why the stun system and combo system was what it was (i.e., good). However, after DOA2U they noticed the amount of people playing Singles and instead went to go "balance" the singles mode in DOA4.

don't tell me you don't know about the Helena ground game? just look at earlier DOA5 tournies after the game came out and it'll make you see.

as for Mila, her ground game was essential for her gimmick and mixup game.

Yeah, I know about their ground game, I'm just messin' with ya lol. I was enjoying fighting them without their added bullshit xD. Even without the ground game, Mila still seems quite solid.

As for a shift to Tag mode, I'm not sure yet. It will allow for the exploration of new tech and could provide the kind of excitement that other Tag-based games put forth, however, the game will appear less methodical or more about mashing out long comboes. But to each their own. I'd give it a try. I say give it a shot! If it works, awesome! Another dimension to DOA5 competitive play. If it doesn't? There's still singles matches to fall back on (something that other tag games can't do).

People say the netcode is bad/was, is there still problems with lag or did they fix it? (PS3)

Also, isnt there supposed to be a patch today?
