marvel is popular because it's a very entertaining game to watch. and has a history behind it. it's bright colors, it's flashy animations, and the quick paced but able to keep up with chaos. it's a spectator sport, pretty much. so i can kind of understand why it's so widely received here in america.

i had something similar happen to me when I was playing as Kokoro and i did mid kick counter that was a hi counter as well. when i looked at how much damage i did it was equivalent if i just punched the guy with a neutral punch. there are several bugs in the game that i hope are being addressed in this massive patch that Team Ninja is coming up with.
