No, UNDERX is just trolling.

The release version is way better than the Alpha demo in terms of guaranteed damage. Holds are even less effective here than they were back in the Alpha.

take off the online option. i had the same problem but once i took it off there were no more problems. it's in the menu and it's simulating you fighting online.

I believe you have the throwdown option on, so just toggle it off.
 
i just started playing with a few of my friends and brother and that was the most fun we had in the longest in a fighting game.

Also i love how you go through the char movelist in training mode.
