For those who are interessted.Dead or alive 5 will not be optimized for standards tv....just like sc5 the standard resolution is 720 p...
2)It will not be possible to play 2 on 2 in tag team on the same machine...Unlike dead or alive 3...Unfortunate

Why is singleplayer still in fighting games...

The funny part is that you said this in a Soul Calibur forum. A fighting game franchise that used to do a lot of single player stuff.

Not so much anymore.

My guess as to why there are so much single player stuff in fighting games - because gaming in general has come a long way, and fighters need as much extra garnish as much as a platformer does.

But hell I love singleplayer stuff.

Most games run 720P and just upscale. No big deal. Unless all that changed recently.

That was the old days when you didn't have a plethora of players to play against so you needed redundant modes like survival, time attack, story, weapon collector to keep your attention which all required you to fight the same characters multiple times. What's the difference between that and playing online? Oh wait you might actually lose because not everyone falls for 6B6B6B6B6B6B6B.......9ABCHJUFK!?

People need to move on with the times. I only signed that petition in hopes of new characters. Screw those modes unless they will be usable in online play like DOA4 did with Survival.
