So Momiji has Hayate's 3PP. She also has his 7P CB. She directly pulls the animation of her Izuna Drop (Wii U version YXYYYX) complete with the recovery animation appearing to wield an invisible naginata. The last hit of her power blow animation is a direct rip of Kasumi's. She doesn't appear to have a blocking stance, instead it appears she's wielding a naginata and raising it slightly like her Ninja Gaiden Sigma block stance. Her knee attack appears to been pulled from Tina's 6K or from one of Sarah's knees (66H+K). At the very least, I'm glad she's coming into the game, but I'm certainly not liking the idea of her move list being so lazily slapped together. Especially since the PR states she using a modified Aikido martial art.

On the positive side, the video hints at a number of new things. New hairstyles, new costumes and even new winning poses for some or all characters.

OMG..aww come on...you really think this happens for the 1st time in Beatem up hystorie?
Even in the SF franchisre there are many used moves/motions/whatever (ryu,ken,akuma,yun,dan,yang etc)
or in the Tekken series....even in SC..and i could list all possible games here now.
(hell even i saw a similar move from heihachi move from Momi in the vid)
But its ok, you only stated your opinion...so you should think about..we had so many generations of games right now...and anybody could say now on the upcoming games if there happens something new..that its clone from something(someone)
Hope you get what im trying to tell..the only thing i see is...she is a lil bit stiff like in the NG games...but hey..the games is not finished yet..and im "NOT" gonna judge before i didnt played it.
Its a waste of time, so im gonna take enjoying to get some new infos and news.
 
Momiji's animations look awkward and don't flow smoothly but the end results are sick. Definitely needs more polish

The Air powerblow is a nice touch.
 
Today I send back my copy of Xbox DOA5 to gamefly. Why? My brother bought DOA5+ for his Vita just for me. So I guess this means I'm portable DOA5 fanatic now. I wonder if it allows me to play peeps on PSN now?
 
If they give Momiji a bunch of parries and sabakis it's over, OVER I TELL YOU. If her whole game revolves the double jump she better be able to do some sick damage because jumping is way too risky in DOA
