Hey now, don't trash my main. :P But in all seriousness, as someone that was totally desperate for Momiji to be in this game before launch, I honestly think we have enough ninjas. I like the variety among the cast, and I think that the addition of Momiji would cheapen that. And including Alpha as a playable character in what is probably her last game is a proper send-off, I think. And in a situation in which it was necessary to scrap someone to fit her in, I still think Gen-Fu would be the better candidate. He isn't necessary to the story (anymore) and his fighting style could've easily just been incorporated into Elliot's.
 
Eh, Momiji used a sword in the DS version of Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. Was only available for the tutorial chapter, and was pretty much a damsel in distress for the better part of the game. In Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, she's used a naginata ever since. She's not really a ninja (though I can certainly understand that as one reason not to include her), but she doesn't exactly have a fighting style that resembles Ninjutsu in any fashion... then again none of the ninjas do.

At best, they could probably give Momiji Aikido - bringing yet another hold/counter hold based character into the game. Could resemble a bit too much of Bayman's Judo antics, though.
 
Well, what kind of fighting style do you think she should have? Were she put into the game, however unlikely that would be.
 
The thing is, if they stay true to canon with her trained by Ryu, she's bound to end up playing close to him.

Besides, if there's any NG character I'd prefer they make playable, I'd rather it be Irene/Sonia since she's already made an appearance in DOA:D.
