Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

The DoA strategy guide is really good. Hawkeye has it and, though I haven't been playing DoA (or any game) much, I ordered it after reading through his even if just for a good read. Also, after seeing it on the Season's Beatings stream, it's pretty fun to watch. Funny that Ayane is being called cheap right now and that's who I was going to play to learn the game competitively.

Ayane's yomi and whiff punishing is amazing. I never get tired of doing 11K against scrubs who spam wake-up kicks. I definitely recommend learning her. The best characters are usually among the most hated right? Look what happened to Viola...

Ok, that helps, thanks

No problem.

I finally ran into a Kokoro player today! Too bad the player was absolutely awful with her.

I'm starting to like 3K a bit more now. It's -3 on hit, but the follow ups are actually pretty nice.

Also going for a lot of guaranteed damage. Everyone keeps falling for 8P6P 7K P6PP. You can actually get a bit more creative with that, for example, instead of P6PP, try P*P2KP.

Nice thing about 8P6P is how easy it is to mix up with Heichu. Once you start utilizing 8P Heichu and then going for a high, mid, low mix up or you can use 8P8P. Only worry is that post-Heichu stuns don't guarantee any follow ups, but 8P6P is guaranteed damage on post stun (30 frame sit-down stun).
