Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

Played through storyline. Kinda liked the cheese more than the serious ninja battles.

Kinda feel sorry for Christie and Mariposa being complete jobber characters without even a chapter to call their own.

The only thing thats bugging me really is when the game is trying to upload your high score (arcade etc) and it seems to freeze for about a minute

That was actually done on part of SEGA, they wanted "authenticity" for the VF characters. Team Ninja simply complied. But yeah, their voices could of done with at least a teensy bit of an update. On the other hand, DOA5's english voices sound almost intentionally bad at times.

Brad is a ton of fun. He's got a ton of moves, but you really only need to know about 25% of them. That said, try learning them all.

I played him back in DoA4 and one of my more favorite moves was he fall down stance throw. It's a great whiff punisher and its fast. His 'flamingo' stance also has a JF throw tied to it that's a lot of fun to work with, but hard to execute well.

One of his best moves is 4P, it's not really a stance but this causes him to do a drinking motion that evades highs and you can follow up with a punch or kick attack and it can lead into the fall down stance.

Try to learn how to go directly into his stances. 4P+K for 'flamingo', 2P+K for fall down, and 66P+K for handstand. Finally, try out his 46PPP and 64PPP attack. Seems rather interesting and might lead to some fun times.

Best thing about Brad is that no one plays him so he's very difficult for players to deal with and hard to predict. He's faster in this game than he was in DoA4 and maybe even DoA3.
