I've been interested in picking up Ayane and Christie.

Are there any notable players I can watch to get a better understanding of they play these characters?

Yeah, like Windstar said, HajinShinobi is an exceptional Ayane player to watch when it comes to better understanding Ayane. Kudos to him!

Is Marie Rose really that low on the list? Not that I care, I told myself that I'd main her but I wanted to get everyone's opinion on this and the rest of the list. If I'm late to the party, I apologize. I just want perspective in preparation for Summerjam.

Lol, that Tier List is just full of fail so far. But Marie Rose is pretty much Mid Tier at best so far. She's not bad, but she does have her challenges, particularly with spacing. Good luck at SJ dude. I'll see you there ;).

EDIT: A couple characters are way too and and way too low on that list. Rig, Helena, Hayate and Momiji should all be lower. Zack should be higher, Jacky should be a touch lower, Pai should be much, much higher. The rest of the cast is a little fuzzier to me, but I believe that Bayman, Leon, Alpha and Ein should all be much higher than their current rankings.

Marie Rose is a pretty solid middle-tier character. Should be on the same level as Hitomi (the only one I can really agree on).

But basically, outside of a few outliers that are well above where they should be, the top-tiers and the bottom tiers are pretty clear. But its a bit fuzzy where their exact placing would be, (I don't agree with Christie being above Sarah, for example).
