Critical Edge: A Brief History of Banning...

Smh... then again im not suprised at the decision because this community has this "thing about it".

This shouldn't even be a discussion. It's more than obvious all CAS characters should be perma banned.

Also Majors are greater than Minors, the logic here is well... but whatever.

DJ is the same as Meta-Knight in Smash brothers Brawl. Do i want it to be baned? No, should it be? YES!

I feel it's best to ban things early, so that if people figure out later down the road that a character move-set does not need to be banned, they can just lift the ban! But if you wait and hold it off, as was done in the Brawl tournaments, it will just end up hurting the legitimacy of the tournaments in the end.

I get the logic. Test him out at smaller tournies as an evaluation, without killing the hype of a big tourney by having T6-esque character rosters in top 8. But that makes our game AND our community structure look weak and indecisive in the end, and leaves way too much room for personal interpretation.

CaS is banned currently, and there should be no exceptions to that. If Daishii feels like he balanced DJ for competitive play, then he should understand what needs to be done and unlock Harada for us outside of CaS.

I think the fact that this post already has this many debating on it in such heated fashion should be reason enough to ban it alone. Don't let this thing simmer and cook. Don't let other countries, other tournaments, etc. play 'different' versions of the game/metagame.
