Best scenario for us back-when-was-cool-Capcom fans imho is ps4 (because sony is still considered the japan-friendly of the big 2) sell fuckton of consoles increasing quickly that audience size, and japs developers speed the fuck up the gen transition jump to make ps4 get as soon as possible whatever level of jap-audience a big console can get today.
With this i don't mean console exclusivity, just give them a solid ground where to land, it will help them get over that shortpenis complex they had for the entire last gen... even if sadly i don't see that happen soon
The other way will be the above said + Sony waste less $ in shit, learn from the DS precedent and start moneyhat some quality Capcom pure style title/titles.
Or maybe not even moneyhat production, since sometimes jap developers seem already inclined to go only-sony, give them a MASSIVE help at promote theyr stuff, if you don't count awkward E3s Sony is nice at marketing, specially these days and specially compared to "waaa baka gaijin don't like muh shit" usual jap sh attitude
