some of us should start a new thread over there the references this site. think that would help or would it just get deleted real quick!?

You can see from a recent thread on those forums that they still mock new members; even though the lifeline of any community is based on it's ability to continually attract new members. Not to mention, when someone asks for the URL for the new forum, they don't tell them... If they were really in it for the community, they would do whats best for the community. I can't imagine how many prospective member's we've lost because of their pettiness.

but form what i seen all the new ppl the wont to play SC4 come here on this sit and i have started lots of threads on the CF.com no one post anything back my grammar does not help but still there noting. i tell ppl this is the best sit as of right now cuz it is to me this sit has a lot of stuff that outer SC sit does not have like the Lady's.
 
Well MrWizard came to this forum to make a thread asking if SC4 should be at Evo again or not...and since Evo is going to be pretty big this year (nicer venue, SF4 grand finals are a part of a nationwide Gamestop sponsored tournament) I think this community will have it's chance to reach out to new players.

On the plus side, if someone is smart enough to see how inactive CF.com is, they'd at least try to go to SCU and see that it's shut down and find the links back to CF.com or to 8wr.com.

On another note, you can put links to 8wr in your sig at CF.com. I've seen a couple of users doing this already.

I'm a mod there and I don't see your threads getting deleted if they're made in a respectful manner. IE, avoid the typical "hey losers, you lose, give it up and suck my balls" or "LINK TO BETTER SITE!!!" style posts. I certainly wouldn't delete them in event. I don't think you need to be subversive, your sigs could be edited if people were really phobic of any links to 8wayrun, that doesn't mean you can't put them in if you don't want to.
