Borderlands 2

I don't mind specialization really, I'm just hoping one isn't obviously more powerful than the others this time around come endgame (cough Lilith cough)
 
I've never played one (my brother has it and he and one of my other brothers killed it), but I'm definitely trying 2.

It wasn't always one weapon. If you had a Mord running a gunslinger mod then he could tear people up with pistols or revolvers, and if you went with a Truxican you could actually make him melee focused if you were feeling brave enough. A plaguebearer Lilith could do well with any weapon with corrosive element. I had secretly hoped to find a Serpens for my Lilith to try this out but never found one. :(

Even in the second there is gonna be some specialization, Zero is the sniper and pistol guy again but obviously with more of a focus on his melee abilities. From what I've seen it looks like Salvador is gonna be an MG guy but I'm only saying that cuz in all the trailers all they ever show him with is MGs
 
I was just about to post in here lol. Yeah I have it preordered and I'm pretty hype. The first game had a lot of flaws but was full of good ideas and the DLC for it had a lot of charm. I feel like with the success they had they will be able to refine this game to be a lot better.
