Borderlands 2

Eff the Slayer of Terra com that thing is useless. I respeced my Commando around it and Terra kept kicking my ass, when I respeced back to my Expert Veteran com Terra started going down easy again.

Here are some of my thoughts on the Mechromancer thus far:

Her first skill tree, Best Friends Forever, is very useful for the beginning of the game. You can heal and give lots of benefits to Deathtrap, at the cost of being able to do less damage than the other skill trees. I dropped a couple points into her first healing skill and I found it to be rather useless, since you have to have a full magazine to heal. The other skill on the top row for BFF is Close Enough. I love this. I love it with all my heart. The reduced damage means nothing when you're down and have to use a shotgun or an inaccurate submachine gun to get a second wind. The ricocheting bullets get a bit too fun, really. I respec'd after trying out the first tree and moved to Little Big Trouble. This is a happy medium between BFF and Ordered Chaos, her other tree. This has more of an offensive feel, while retaining some support/defensive skills. Deathtrap gains some interesting boosts like an eye beam, elemental powers, and a shockwave. I spent little time on this one and promptly moved to what I was waiting for: Ordered Chaos.

Now, I normally play a healer or support role in games like Borderlands. NOT WITH GAIGE THE MECHROMANCER. Ordered Chaos makes life better. The Anarchy skill is dangerous...ly amazing. I was able to stack up 52 Anarchy charges. Anarchy boosts your gun damage like crazy, but sadly makes your accuracy practically nonexistent. This is where the fun begins. Investing in the skill Discord allows you to burn through Anarchy stacks and gain fire rate, accuracy, health regeneration, and boosters. I found this build to be the hardest to play, yet the most fun to play. You give up different skills for others and generate overpowered boosts at the cost of powerful hinderances.

HAVE FUN WITH YOUR ROBOT ARM AND TEEN DRAMA. By the way Gaige is about a head taller than a midget. SHE'S VERY SHORT AND I LOVE HER. Her head items are generally...boring.

She has some cool looking ones. You just haven't found them yet.
I'll take some in screen shots if needed...

Anyways, I've got a lvl 50 Gaige. and personally at end game... Anarchy is not really needed because the robot is uber strong.
I'm a Discord Gaige myself. Love the perks that go with that skill. the fact that you can charge your DT with elemental dmg and/or pick shield Regen for each one of your team mates is awesome.

GBX called her the "girlfriend" class - which, in some aspects are true due to the fact she's heavily on the "support" side (ie. shield regen, elemental support... namely: slag and shock, and some crowd control) - However, when playing solo against some tough bosses/mini bosses, she could hold her own.
Non-the-less, i wouldn't consider her to be a hardcore class like Gunzerk or Assassin. She plays better in a group, like the Siren.
Another note about her speed. I'm talking about movement/reload/RoF, definitively not on par with Gunzerker or Commando. Even though she gets a movement speed boost after killing an enemy, it's still not as fast as commando's boost after killing an enemy, and I won't even compare it to gunzerker's...
What's most annoying, is her reload speed. It has to be the worst in the game. period.

Just my 2 cents about MechRomancer... hope GBX releases new classes in the future along with some new game modes and vehicles :D

Got 4 of them today. First one was for Siren and I thought "Oh, this looks pretty decent. Siren specializes in elemental, so the fire bonus must be useful for her. I wonder what the Assassin one gives bonuses to."

Then I got an Assassin one. "Wow, this is fucking useless. Lemme try again."
And again.
And again.

Fucking garbage every time. Because what the Assassin really needs is fire damage and chance buffs as well as buffs to a bunch of shitty skills. Out of all the skills it gives buffs to, only one of them is even remotely useful, and it's a tier one sniper skill.

Although I did get a Hide of Terramorphous that kicks ass.
