Bayonetta: "Yo Dante, take five!"

My review

The game comes on both 360 and PS3. Word around the village is that the 360 is the version to have since Platinum Games developed the game on that platform and I sincerely believe that version is better regarding framerate, textures and the rest. Since I only have the PS3 and the fps and textures are minor issues IN MY OPINION, I bought that version.
The framerate is indeed choppy in the beginning sequence aka falling clock tower but after that the experience is really great only with minor slowdowns during the end.

Word on the grapevine is this problem is being worked on for U.S. Release. As well as adding the feature to install the game to the HDD, which I believe is missing from earlier releases.

I have Bayonetta import for PS3 and it runs fine. Yes the pause menu loading is slightly annoying, but it's not like you need it much. Skipping cinematics can cause frame loss for the first 10 secs of a fight, but other than that it's pure gold. Well I forgot about the no install, but I honestly don't mind the load times yet, you can practice combo timing during them.

oh and imo it curb stomps DMC into oblivion.

real talk.

2 of my friends have the 360 import and the frame rate differences and load times are pretty negligible.

While I'm hype for this game, I was a lazy bastard and did not import it. I'm more than content with waiting for the US release to play the full game. I did play the demo though and was liking what I was playing. I noticed what felt like frame rate issues and they did irk me a bit. Either way I'll get the game. If I get a 360 before the game comes out, I'll get it for 360. If I don't I'll just settle for the PS3 version.

Played a bit of the full game and demo, I don't have enough of an understanding of the combo system yet to tell which game is better, this or DMC. But I'm definitely gonna Gamefly it, this game has got some ridiculously epic sequences in it that are worth seeing.

After I'll finish this on hard among others I can safely say I've spent more time with this one than any other action game I've played. I already have 20 something hours in and will gladly play more if it wasn't for these hemorrhoids that make me stand up all the time...
