Bayonetta 2 Wii U exclusive

but smartglass and vita arnt the same cause with those systems you already have to hold a controler. you cant use smartglass and a controler at the same time. its awkward. the wii u controler will be copied by microsft and sony. guaranted

SmartGlass has an on screen A, B, X and Y and the four cardinal directions. I don't know what the final version will look like but right now controlling Netflix from my IPad and Dashboard navigation is a breeze.

I do have a game on my IPad called Eternal Legacy that has a virtual Analog Stick that works perfectly so I wouldn't rule it out completely. The technology is there they just gotta use it.

people can still text faster using a keypad instead of a screen. standard controlers are probably more responsive in the same way and can take more abuse. id rather play halo with normal controls than a screen, and use the screen for other functions. and having the 2 things put together seems like a good thing

It's not meant to "replace" a controller. It is meant to "enhance" your gaming experience. The same thing Kinect does but will probably be easier to apply than Kinect.

I can type much faster on my IPad than with a controller. In fact I find it faster to go on Xbox.com and type out a lengthy message than pulling up the Xbox guide and going from there.

yeah but i think smartglass or vita will be too cumbersome to use during actual gameplay since those systems require a standard controller. but smartglass could still be awesome for use during movies or for navigating the dashboard or maybe even for playing indie or arcade games
