I don't think I've picked a pencil, charcoal or brush for art in years... No make that a decade. Everything's gone digital. Last time I mixed some oil paint or stapled a canvas on a frame must have been something like 1998 which was then the last century. Clay? Probably haven't touched that since the 80's.... Damn. Has it been that long? Now that I think about it, I kinda miss all that - getting dirty, the smell of linseed oil, staring at blank slate for hours on end wondering what to do next. Digital art like digital photography and film is great in lot of respects, but somethings quite lost with the old ways of doing things - like not being able to go back and fix every mistake. Those times were good.

...but I think if I were to really attempt to try any of that today, I would get impatient and probably would give up after a few minutes "F*$k that... I don't want to deal with this crap. Where's my Wacom?"

thought this was pretty inspirational for you would be artists, designers, etc what have you. he gives some great advice for drawing. enjoy.
