Are Arcade Stick Adapters Good?

Hi. I'm thinking of getting an arcade fight stick for PS3. And when SC6 comes out for the PS4, I'm thinking of getting an adapter. Do adapters introduce lag?

It will depend on the adapter. If they stick with USB though, you may not need one.

Yo, Im gonna purchase an Arcade stick next week, Which one would be the best ? is it personal preferences or is there a better arcade stick to play SCV with ?

Thanks Marginal and d3v. Here's hoping I would not need an adapter at all! If I do, I hopefully will find an adapter with no lag.

I'm interested in knowing whether some sticks are better than others too. Do some sticks introduce lag or are they all good? Thanks in advance.
