New-ish fan here, ironically i skipped all games except BlazBlue: Portable for PSP and now BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend for the PSVita (2D games on consoles don't appeal to me unless there beyond incredible) the story is very good and amazing for a fighting game. hilariously better than a lot of movies and JRPG's.

My favorite characters are Jin Kisaragi, Hazama the Prince of Trolls, and the new guy Relius Clover (he wears a lot of purple lol). Rachel is pretty cool to, since she reminds me of a dark Yuki from Vampire Knight (Voice actors are the same.)

But there are a lot of irritating characters in this game Platinum the Trinity being one of the worst, her/his design is extremely annoying to look at and is made for a certain "type" of fan. Noel irritates me because shes a marry sue, marry sues being one of the worst types of characters. and the main character Ragna is cool, but he swears to much in the story, its unnecessary even if it is his personality.

But yeah since i skipped most games, cashing out $40 was well worth it in my case, and the graphics on PSVita are quite literally on par with the PS3 and 360 versions, we can have the same gaming experience as a console and then some on the go since the Vita has exclusive touch pad controls and it works pretty well. it's surprisingly well balanced to, although Tager is kind of overpowered and Unlimited Hazama is just cheating.
